Dr. Anibal Pepper who leads the PAMS Arequipa Medical Mission, has been awarded the prestigious Americanism Medal from the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), for his medical career which includes his dedicated service in a MASH unit in Vietnam and his continued medical volunteer work in Peru. Congratulations Dr. Pepper!

La Misión Ayacucho - PAMS donó al Pueblo de Quinua una cocina industrial y una refrigeradora para mejorar la alimentación de los adultos mayores de la zona.

La Asociación Ángeles de la Caridad y la Música dirigida por Andrea Vicich en coordinación con PAMS y el apoyo del Club de Leones de Puno, donaron al Hospital Regional de Puno "Manuel Núñez Butrón" una lavadora para ropa industrial; asimismo durante el 2020 hicieron entrega de tanques de oxígeno y suministros médicos para combatir el COVID-19.

As we celebrate International Women's Day, we wanted to recognize a PAMS members who was a pioneering physician. Dr. Raquel Eidelman Cohen was a member of the first class of women to graduate from the Harvard Medical School. Dr. Cohen passed away on October 21, 2020, at the age 98.
