The National Academy of Medicine celebrated its 136th anniversary with a Solemn Session that highlighted the remarkable participation of Dr. Manuel Valdivieso, a prominent member of the Peruvian American Medical Society (PAMS). Dr. Valdivieso had the honor of delivering the "Discurso de Orden", marking a significant milestone for PAMS as it was the first time this prestigious institution included our society in its official program.
His presentation, titled "The Role of an Academic in the Medical-Educational Missions of Peruvian American Medical Society PAMS," underscored the transformative work PAMS has accomplished in Peru through its medical and educational missions.
Dr. Valdivieso’s participation in this event not only elevates PAMS’s mission but also opens new opportunities to strengthen ties between Peru’s academic institutions and the international medical community.
PAMS’s involvement in this significant event sets a historic precedent and reaffirms its commitment to serving the country with excellence and dedication.
